About this organization

Ropes for Riggers is a not-for-profit initiative. We are not currently a registered charity under the Income Tax Act (Canada). We intend to pursue registered charitable status in the future; until that status is granted, we cannot issue official donation receipts for income tax purposes, and nothing on this website should be taken as indicating that we are a registered charity.

Acceptance of terms

By accessing or using this website, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

Use of this site

You agree to use this site lawfully and not to interfere with its operation, security, or other users' use of it. You must not submit false, misleading, unlawful, or harmful information through our forms.

Scrap donations and sponsorships

Scrap donations, sponsorship inquiries, and related communications made through this site support the work of Ropes for Riggers. Ropes for Riggers is not currently a registered charity, and donations are not eligible for an official tax receipt at this time.

Scrap pickup requests submitted through the site are requests for coordination only. Pickup timing, recycler routing, accepted materials, loading arrangements, public recognition, and any other logistics must be confirmed directly by Ropes for Riggers or its partners.

Donors remain responsible for safely handling, storing, loading, and preparing scrap material until pickup or transfer is confirmed. If you believe a submission was made in error, please contact us.

Nothing on this site is rigging, lifting, safety, engineering, tax, legal, accounting, or financial advice. You should seek qualified advice where appropriate.

Intellectual property

Unless otherwise noted, the content on this site, including text, graphics, logos, images, and downloadable materials, belongs to Ropes for Riggers or is used with permission, and may not be reproduced without our consent.
